NeuroMetrix NC-stat Monitor
The new NC-stat Monitor from NeuroMetrix is intended to help physicians
diagnose nerve disorders, such as peripheral neuropathy. The device measures
such parameters as amplitude, latency, and conduction velocity of the motor
and sensory nerves. As nerves are stimulated, the monitor displays responses
on the LCD screen. Hard-copy results are available in real time by
transmitting the data to the on Call Information System via the NC-stat

FoodCuber Pre-portion and Storage Trays

The Calsulin Insulin Unit Calculator is intended to help patients calculate
the amount of required bolus insulin units at mealtime. The device uses three
factors in its calculation: blood glucose level (from a blood glucose meter),
grams of carbohydrates consumed, and the amount of exercise to be taken
post-meal. The device crunches these numbers and displays a recommended amount

CareLink Pro Software
This new software from Medtronic adds a physician component to the
company's CareLink Therapy Management System for Diabetes. Using the software,
physicians can download patients' diabetes data from the Internet.
Specifically, they can analyze data from insulin pumps and continuous glucose
monitoring (CGM) sensors and meters to guide treatment decisions. According to
the company's Web site, "All CareLink Software is compatible with most

WaveSense Jazz Codeless Meter
This wireless glucose meter from AgaMatrix offers a large, backlit display
and alternate site testing. Its diabetes data-management features include pre-
and post-mealtime averages, seven alarms for reminders about checking blood
glucose, and the capacity to download glucose data to AgaMatrix's Zero-Click
software using Bluetooth technology. The meter requires test strips and a 0.5
